Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Hazeldene Guest House in Bowness. Lovely clean and comfortable rooms. Only a few minutes walk to local restaurants and bars and 10 minutes to Windermere Lakeside.Excellent breakfast choices and standard of food. Nothing was too much trouble for Chris and Victoria, who gave us first class service and were so friendly and helpful. will definitely be using Hazeldene again. - Terry M

Very pleased with our 2 night stay at Hazeldene guest house. excellent position on the main road into Bowness and not too far to walk into Windermere town either. Very clean, our room with stunning views over the lake was very spacious and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and hosts Chris and Victoria were friendly and nothing seemed too much for them to make our stay perfect. would highly recommend. The only negative feedback was our room was slightly too warm on the second night dropping the score to 4.99 out of 5! - Martin G
